In addition to my career as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and academician, I am deeply committed to education, human development, and social welfare. I am the Founding Chairman of Amena Baki Residential School & College, a renowned educational institution established in my native village with the vision of providing quality education and nurturing future generations

Furthermore, I have played a leading role in establishing and developing a Polytechnic Institute and a Nursing Institute, contributing to technical, professional, and healthcare education in Bangladesh.

As part of my lifelong commitment to humanity, I have dedicated my personal wealth and resources to the Dr. Amjad Hossain Trust, a charitable foundation established to support education, healthcare, social welfare, and humanitarian initiatives for the benefit of mankind.

These activities reflect my belief that service to society extends beyond medicine and includes empowering communities through education, compassion, and sustainable human development.

Participated in the ILLIZAROV “HANDS ON TRAINING WORKSHOP” for limb lengthening procedure at Nil Ratan Sarkar Medical College, Calcutta, India, November 1992.

‘AO’ (Association for Osteosynthesis), Basic course at Singapore in April 1994.

As a Travelling Fellow offered by DR. R.J. GARST to different institutes of USA from September to October 1994.
